Jack was bought as a stud dog to my dear Kepi when I thought that I wanted to breed and show Chihuahuas. Well before I was able to breed them Jack was sterilized by the neighbor's German Shepherd when he was attacked in 2000.
Then Christmas of 2006 our family came home from buying our Christmas tree to find that Jack had yet again been hurt some how. We are still not sure what happened but his jaw was shattered on his right side and his eye was patruding from his left side. After a visit to the emergency vets we were told that he looked as though he had been kicked but we do not know for certian. All we know is that we are very lucky to still have Jack. Although Christmas was not as it was planned to be at least we still had Jack. We were not sure if he was going to make it but he did and he has made great strides in overcoming it. I know it was not easy to overcome the thought that everyone was out to get him after a giant attacked him, but he did and he is now at almost ten years of age doing very well at not being scared of all dogs. He even can play with Junior the Boxer and knows he is the top dog.
Jack is a wonderful little lap dog, and is in all actual fact, Payton's dog. They will sit on the couch and watch T.V. very contently. It is amazing to anyone that has ever known Jack, as he has never been one to like kids and then there he is sitting right next to a four year old perfectly happy, it is wonderfully amazing.

I bought Kepi when she was six months old as a show prospect. Well, after the vet pulled the wrong tooth, and her bite went off, we were not able to show her. In all reality it did not matter to me because she was a wonderful little pet weighing a whole three pounds. She was an amazing dog she seemed to think that she was a lot larger then she really was. She would try to attack any large black dogs she saw, luckily for her they always seemed confused by her and would not even think of bitting her. Besides the black dogs she was wonderful, the best way to describe her would be a Lab in a Chihuahua's body. She never met a stranger, and absolutely loved everyone. I never had to put her on a leash as she would just follow me everywhere I went. She would ride in my sweatshirt pocket in stores and would just poke her head out to see what was going on. Her death was a tragic one but I was lucky enough to be able to hold her in her last moments on this earth. Kepi is, and always will be, missed by all who's lives she touched, as she was a truly amazing dog and there will never be another as sweet and loving as she.
Even though I am not truly a "cat person" Boots won my heart over the second he was born. I got Oreo, Boot's Mom as a kitten, well Oreo was a one person cat and I was that person. Sixteen years ago Oreo had a litter of kittens and Boots was born. Boots has always been my cat for sixteen years, it is so hard to believe at times. He is not like a normal cat he has no fear of dogs and actually would train our puppies to respect cats. Any time a puppy would walk by him, while he was on his couch, he would swat at them. If they got in his face he would wrap his legs around their neck and bite till they stopped squirming. He would apply more pressure as they moved more but once they stopped he stopped. The puppies learned very quickly not to mess with cats and to love cats. Boots is one of those cats that loves to be under your feet especially when you are carrying something and can't see him. I don't know how many times I stepped on him while he was trying to get me to feed him or give him fresh water. Boots loved fresh water and if a dog had drank from "his" water bowl then it was no longer fresh.

Boots has moved four times with me and we are now at our final home. He has always been an indoor/outdoor cat but it seems that he is more interested in being inside now. We recently found out that boots is in liver failure, it is hard for me to think that I will soon loose my oldest baby. He, like his sister L.V., has been through it all. He is the only cat my husband has ever liked it is hard not to like Boots he just has a great personality that everyone loves. Boot's favorite spot to lie is in my lap especially now that he does not have a lot of body fat to keep him warm he just loves to cuddle. There will never be another cat like Boots he is a one in a million cat , I have enjoyed every moment we had with him.

Rest in peace my sweet Bootsie, I'll see you at the Bridge.

As a young pup L.V. always liked to climb our Oak tree to see the neighbors cats.
L.V is pictured here at 10 years of age with her partner in crime Boots at 11 years of age...
L.V...... As anyone that knows me knows is the love of my life. For my eleventh birthday my Mom offered to buy me a show dog. Well my response was I wanted to save a dog from the pound. So off to the pound we went I adopted L.V. when she was four months old I did not know when I picked her out but if she had not been adopted she would have been put down the next day. She is the best dog a child could have, she was a great obedience dog easy to train and even easier to live with. I confided everything in her knowing that she would never tell L.V. was my best friend as a child. Still to this day, even though she is almost deaf and can be a grump at times, she is an awesome dog and one of the best I have ever had.
This page is dedicated to my companions that have always been there and were by my side before most.
